Some members may already be aware that due to exceptional recent trading conditions the gents retail outlet in Formby (Byrne & Son), currently operated By Rob and Michelle Bayliff and formerly by Chris and Ann Byrne, will be closing its doors at the end of the year on expiry of the current lease. Whilst the shop remains open part-time for the purpose of stock clearance, Rob is no longer able to take any further orders from members but has undertaken to fulfil any orders already taken.

However, Rob is continuing with his tailoring as this is something he is passionate about, so once the premises in Formby have closed he will be working at a renowned and well established tailors based in Liverpool city centre, H. Coleman. The proprietor James Enevoldson has mentioned that he will be very happy to continue to provide Society members new and old with high quality Society and club attire utilising Rob’s support and knowledge regarding the Society’s and each club’s requirements.

The service to members wishing to avail themselves of the services of H Coleman tailors will therefore commence on Monday 10 October and will be based on the attached price list. Members should note that H Coleman is not a retail premises but rather a bespoke tailoring business where prior appointments to be seen are always necessary.
